Have fun towing your caravan
About one fifth of trailers on the road are caravans. They are often irregularly used and parked up for most of the winter.
This pattern of use gives rise to specific maintenance problems, and can mean that drivers take some time to become experienced towers.
Caravans are generally much bulkier than other types of trailer, making them more difficult to manoeuvre and reducing visibility to the rear.
However, provided they follow the advice of matching big vehicle with smaller trailer, most drivers are pleasantly surprised to find how easily a caravan moves.
Use only well balanced and well maintained outfits!
